"I started poetry for the first time in the summer of 1998. I was inspired to write as a result of a difficult situation that I encountered in my life. However, God has used my gift of poetry to deliver and heal me through the turmoil that I was faced with. Now, God has taken the poetry again, but He has used it to inspire and minister not just to myself, but to all the people who will lend an ear."

Angel is a graduate from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. She has also completed her Master’s in Educational Leadership at Marygrove College. She is currently a high school teacher at the University Preparatory High School.

Angel has been blessed with many gifts and opportunities. She has continued to write and perform poetry at over 100 events! These events include television, schools, churches, concerts, and competitions, such as the Bobby Jones New Gospel Artist Showcase, in which she received 3rd place. She has done 2 poetry CDs. Her first one is entitled, "Angel" and her second one is entitled "Water of Life", subtitled, "This is Poetry." As a result, she has also hosted many events such as cafes, concerts, and television. She was also featured on WDIV channel four as Rhonda Walker’s Double, where she won the look- a- like competition. Angel’s skills also include acting. She has performed in theatre and in film. Through dance, she is also able to travel and minister to many. She is the Dance Director for Strictly Biblical Bible Teaching ministries and she is also a member and administrative assistant for the Spirit of the Moment Praise Dance Company. God has truly been good and she is very thankful for what He has already done for her!
